Briefing

Gael Gloomreach refuses to learn your name until you have endured the thorn impalement and returned with an accurate count.

Steps

Endure the thorn impalement on ring one, then deliver an accurate resonant crystal count to Gael Gloomreach. Thornhorn and Bonmane roam that dangerous ground, and a Resonant Crystal Flush can triple the yield.

Reward

• Resonant Draught x2
• 500 XP
• 50 Gold
• 200 Soulglass Circle rep

Dialogue

• You held steady through the thorn impalement, which most newcomers never manage.
• You are a new face here, and Thorncradle never forgives the slow ones.
• Thornhorn and Bonmane roam ring one, and a Resonant Crystal Flush can triple the yield. Deliver an accurate count rather than a story; I keep the tally at the Thorn Drift Fields.
• Mind the thorn impalement once you are out past the line.
• Don't die somewhere I can't reach to collect on what you owe.
