The stored key "Riftwalker Brotherhood (VANISHED)" is kept as written in the tables and data, because other tables join on it. The VANISHED label refers to the original nine members, who departed. Outsiders call them the Vanished. Current members of the Brotherhood call them the Ascended. Both are true depending on who is speaking. NPC dialogue keeps whatever term is already recorded.

93 NPC rows record the Riftwalker Brotherhood. 91 of them are current members, still present on the planet. Two rows, NPC0505 and NPC0726, are recorded as historical departed and are shown as recorded. The original nine departed; see the note under Reputation tiers. 70 of them live or work in a settlement controlled by another faction. That is not a conflict: an NPC can belong to any faction and live or work in a settlement controlled by another faction.

Description

Once the most powerful faction. Mastered tectonic energy. Split 9 Holy (Caelen Zephyrcroft, the deep mirror) / 9 Evil (Lyra Lumenbrook historical, the deep rift) after an 11-year research project ~200 years ago. Status DEPARTED — both groups alive in their respective realms. Territory at B007 preserved/ghost.

Stored key

The stored key "Riftwalker Brotherhood (VANISHED)" is kept as written in the tables and data, because other tables join on it. The VANISHED label refers to the original nine members, who departed. Two of the nine are recorded by name: Lyra Lumenbrook (historical) NPC0505 and Caelen Zephyrcroft (historical) NPC0726.

Leader

Not recorded. The faction table has no leader field.

Tier names, price discounts, and unlocks recorded on the reputation table.

Tier Name Price discount Unlocks
T0 Stranger 0% No interaction beyond hostility level
T1 Ruin-Curious 0% Shardrim Archipelago exploration permitted (at own risk); Riftwalker lore texts T1
T2 Silence-Witness 0% Riftwalker relic study access; The Silence mystery chain eligibility check; Crystal tool basic use

Reputation table note: The Brotherhood has no economy. No price discounts. Rep with the Brotherhood is earned through investigation of The Silence, not through trade.

Reputation table special status: GHOST FACTION — no living members. Reputation cannot be gained through standard means. T3+ reputation was locked in when the Brotherhood vanished. Players who had rep before THE SILENCE retain it.

Reputation table rep gain possible: no.

The original Brotherhood was nine members who departed. Outsiders call them the Vanished. Current members of the Brotherhood call them the Ascended. Both are true depending on who is speaking. The reputation table's "no living members" refers to those nine. 91 of the 93 NPC rows that record the Riftwalker Brotherhood are current members, still present on the planet. The other two rows, historical Lyra Lumenbrook NPC0505 and Caelen Zephyrcroft (historical) NPC0726, are two of the original nine members who departed. The other seven of the nine are not named in the records.

Reputation thresholds recorded for all factions: T0 Stranger -9999 to 0; T1 Known 1 to 2499; T2 Trusted 2500 to 7499; T3 Honoured 7500 to 14999; T4 Devoted 15000 to 24999; T5 Exalted 25000 to 99999.
