== Briefing ==

Kress Zephyrcroft wants a log recovered from the slack-pool, and you should not linger there one moment longer than necessary.

== Steps ==

Retrieve a log from the slack-pool without lingering, and remember that Spirecoil and Venomvent prowl around that slack-pool.

== Reward ==

* [[Brimspire Draught|Spire Draught]] x3
* 3200 XP
* 200 [[Gold]]
* 500 Cinderwarden rep

== Dialogue ==

* Do not linger near the slack-pool any longer than the work requires.
* In certain seasons, the slack-pool runs strange.
* Brimspire keeps two things carefully: its water and its old debts.
* The slack-pool is your task, so do not linger while Spirecoil and Venomvent prowl ring four. Bring the completed log to me. I record this step at the Slack-Pool of Brimspire.
* I will write your log faithfully, but I will not write down everything I know.
